The Arti Bag is designed by the Berlin-based design studio Teuber Kohlhoff and is produced by the women of Long Meraan, a village which is located on the island Borneo. They belong to the Penans, which are Borneo's last nomadic group. It is their traditional habit to extract value from the rich rattan species found in the jungles of Borneo and to practice basketry as taught to them by their mothers and grandmothers. Every bag is hand-braided and has therefore an individual pattern and can slightly vary in size. Artisan Tanoti in Malaysia Material 100% rattan Size height width straps 46 cm 43 cm 63 cm
